Kris Krohn: Building a Referral Network to Create a Real Estate Portfolio

Here Kris Krohn answers questions about using one’s network of friends and associates to build a real estate portfolio.

Kris Krohn: It’s my pleasure.

Interviewing-Experts: How does someone without unlimited funds start building real estate wealth?

Kris Krohn: A person can begin the process by securing a Professional Service Agreement (PSA) from Strongbrook. This gives him or her access to our entire team, our experts, our deals, everything. The investor is then assigned a client services coordinator, who serves as a real estate success coach.

Interviewing-Experts: What is the role of the client services coordinator?

Kris Krohn: He or she connects the person to our team of experts who then deliver the hottest properties in the country to review and purchase.

Interviewing-Experts: Your team actually has access to properties—it’s not just a how-to?

Kris Krohn: Absolutely. Our team then helps people purchase, lease out and contract with a management company. Then we “rinse and repeat”.

Interviewing-Experts: Kris Krohn, what is the “game plan” you refer to?

Kris Krohn: It’s a way to build on one’s success. Investors can partner directly with the company to create a six- to 12-month income game plan that can get an investor closer to the next real estate transaction.

Interviewing-Experts: How do you do that?

Kris Krohn: As a client begins working with our company and sees our level of professionalism, innovation, and expertise he or she will likely want to tell friends and family about the experience. Referring people to Strongbrook can earn both an income and ultimately a real estate portfolio.

Interviewing-Experts: How does that happen?

Kris Krohn: All of these personal referrals to Strongbrook become indirect partners and actually help someone earn what we call a $35,000 Home Bonus, a sum large enough to provide them with a down payment, closing costs and reserves on their next investment deal.

Interviewing-Experts: Is this a formal program?

Kris Krohn: Yes. This real estate partnering program is housed in Strongbrook’s referral program. When someone introduced to Strongbrook joins, the referrer can earn up to a $3,000 referral commission.

Interviewing-Experts: And is there a network component?

Kris Krohn: Yes. All the people a person refers to Strongbrook, and all the people they refer, and in fact all the people anyone refers to Strongbrook who originally came through that original referrer help earn him/her referral commissions and credits towards the Home Bonus.

Interviewing-Experts: So it’s a multiplier effect?

Kris Krohn: Absolutely. It comes from building a referral team. All of Strongbrook’s business comes from word of mouth. The people referred are going to refer others, and Strongbrook has decided to compensate clients for that.

Interviewing-Experts: What are the potential earnings?

Kris Krohn: This six- to 12-month game plan and referral system can supplement or even replace a person’s income. It has the potential for a very serious six-figure income—all while helping to bring others financial freedom.
